What a wonderful start in the first 2 weeks of May! Here at Signature of South Bend, we’ve had a lot of fun while we practice social distancing and it all started with a wonderful spaghetti dinner that was made and donated by Teresa, our wonderful housekeeping staff! While ending the day off with a banana split ice cream sundae for our residents!
Signature HealthCARE of South Bend had a wonderful turn out at our annual Hall of Fame celebration! Residents and stakeholders dressed in some of their best attire, ate a wonderful meal, and put the spotlight on three new inductees. Thank you stakeholders, families, and volunteers for helping us put on a great event!
While the residents of Signature HealthCARE of South Bend were “Capturing the Roses (card game)” where they must collect three horses, two roses, and either a jockey helmet, a riding crop or a horseshoe, they enjoyed Indiana’s version of a Mint Julep. It must have hit the spot because they asked for seconds!
Bala Kuppusamy, therapy director, presented Grace with her ten-year service pin; a dedicated stakeholder at Signature HealthCARE since 2008 in our Therapy Department. She is an asset to the company, a great clinician and always an advocate for our residents. Other accomplishments include being nominated for our sacred six awards, 2017 Stakeholder Hall of Fame Inductee for keeping our building strong, and provideing the care and love our residents deserve. Grace, thank you for smiles and your commitment!
Congratulations to Desiree Porter for being named February’s Stakeholder of the Month at Signature HealthCARE of South Bend.
Signature of South Bend had their own Super Bowl – Blue Jays vs. the Wildcat Birds, cheerleaders kept the crowd lively and the half time show wowed the crowd.
